I am a married mother of three children. My husband and I opened our second barbershop in Cobourg in 2021 amid the COVID-19 pandemic. While so many people thought we were crazy for the timing, we have not regretted it for a moment!

Once those lockdowns were lifted… we were full steam ahead!

We recently underwent the process of making Cobourg our permanent home by building in town. As with everything, the world is all about timing and we were finally able to move into our forever home after securing the land in 2024, and renting in the area since 2025.

While my older two children never had the advantage of going to school here in Cobourg, my nine-year-old son is thriving! From the amazing staff he's encountered at school to the abundance of friends he's made in class and in the neighbourhood… we are thrilled to be fully committed to this town.

As members of the community and local business owners, we've had the benefit of being involved with many of the events in town. From taking part in the Santa Claus parade, to collecting toys for the local charities, and raising money for the Humane Society & Food 4 All Northumberland - we are constantly reminded what a special and caring community we live in. We are so proud to call Cobourg home.

In the upcoming election, I've decided to run for a position on council because I believe I can bring a strong, solid voice to the table. I've been listening to the concerns our residents have and I feel that the following issues need to be resolved.
